March 1, 2005 -- Grand Junction, Colorado
There is a new service in town that brings together small Western Slope businesses and their customers. Western Slope Personal and Business Services (WSPBS) provides an electronic marketplace, or E-Mall for small businesses to advertise their services. The E-Mall is also a one-stop shopping site for customers.
"Most small businesses don't have resources to take advantage of what the World Wide Web has to offer," according to WSPBS chief consultant Don Carpenter. "WSPBS provides a E-Mall for the public to learn about and access dozens of local small businesses who offer a wide variety of services to help solve their problems and enrich their lives."
WSPBS will cater to the smallest businesses on the Western Slope that provide services about which the public might not otherwise know. WSPBS will advertise its services in a variety of ways, so that both businesses and the public are informed of its existence.
"We will have the capability to handle literally an unlimited number of businesses," says Carpenter. "But we will not hesitate to exclude those businesses who do not consistently offer quality services."
WSPBS plans to roll-out the Western Slope E-Mall on June 1, 2005. For information, visit www.wspbs.com or email wspbs@wspbs.com.
