We support and encourage that.

Explanation of Categories of Wedding Services:
1. We can help you plan and write your ceremony.
Perhaps you already have an order of service in mind. Perhaps you already know the words and blessing you want read at your wedding ceremony. Perhaps you plan to write your own vows. Or perhaps you don't know where to start! We can help.
We have a wide variety of prewritten ceremonies from which to draw. We can use any one of those as is, or we can customize your ceremony entirely. Whether you want a traditional religious ceremony, a more secular ceremony, or one based on ethnic or cultural traditions, we can help.
2. We can help you find a location, inside or outside.
We can help you find an ideal location for your wedding ceremony, whether you want your ceremony held inside a church or a meeting room, or outside in the wide open spaces.
3. We can conduct and officiate your wedding ceremony.
As an ordained minister, Dr. Carpenter is qualified to conduct and officiate over your wedding ceremony in most states. We can rehearse the service with you a day or two before, whether it is will be a small or large ceremony.
4. We can provide a wedding ceremony memorial portfolio.
One of our popular services is a notebook containing the order of service and words of your wedding ceremony, including your special vows, with spaces for your marriage license, announcements and photos. This portfolio will allow you to relive the service many times through the years.
5. We can coach a couple on several issues prior to the ceremony.
One of the most important services we provide is to coach the couple before the ceremony. Pre-ceremony coaching is one of the best predictors of future happiness as a married couple. The focus is on compatibility and communications issues. You will learn to celebrate the differences between you as well as the things you have in common. You will learn specific techniques to work together through challenges that inevitably arise in a marriage. This service can last one or several sessions as you desire. We strongly urge a couple who is contemplating marriage to take advantage of this coaching service.
